Route: North Col / NE-ridge

Above basecamp (or BC, 5.200m) is the advanced basecamp (or ABC, 6.400m). ABC lies at the foot of Northcol.

Untill we’re used to the altitude we will use an intermediate camp between BC and ABC, at 5,800 meter. Above ABC 4 more camps will be placed. Camp I at Northcol at 7,000 meter, camp II at 7,500 meter, camp III at 7,800 meter and camp IV at 8,350 meter. The most difficult parts of the route are the three technical ‘steps’ (click the photo for details).
