Excerpts of a climbers life
“Arriving at the last rocks two men asked me “Bist du allein? Willst du bei uns am Seil?” I replied that I was alone but thanked them for the offer to join them. I’m never eager to tie myself to people I don’t know. For all I know they could be the worst climbers in the world!? Los geht’s! I quickly made my way up the crevassed glacier. A storm was looming.”
